US Open of Surfing this Week

The US Open of Surfing is going on all this week and weekend at the Huntington Beach Pier and y'all should come on down and check out all the fun. Today is Round 3 and etnies Surfers Brett Simpson, Mason Ho and ausie Kai Otton are all battling to get to the round of 48 tomorrow. (*UPDATE* Mason just won his heat and advanced to round 4!)
etnies will be right on the beach with a booth giving away all kinds of free junk like frisbees, tatoos, spraypaint tats, water guns, some hats and shirts and maybe more... cruz down, hang out, scope all the hot babes on the beach and get some free etnies swag.

etnies FIGHT CLUB
Posted by: Cropley | Monday, July 17, 2006The first ever etnies FIGHT CLUB went down in some fun peaky 2-3 foot waves at Riviera beach in San Clemente last Friday morning. Some of the peeps in attendance included the Gudauskas brothers, Eric Geiselman, Mason Ho (new addition to the etnies surf team!), Ryan Carlson, Jason Miller, Alex King, Tyler Hallen, Dane Ward, Evan Geiselman, Tanner Rozunko, Luke Davis, Kekoa Cazimero, Matt Biolos from LOST, Todd Profitt, Photographer John Steele, the Kelly Bros, Cru Surratt and Devon Tresher among others!

It’s a totally new format with Goofy going head to head against Regular to see which stance reigns Supreme! The early heats match Regular vs. Regular and Goofy vs. Goofy man on man until there is only one Goofy and one Regular left standing for the final.
The regulars battled it out with stand outs Pat Gudauskas, Mason Ho, Julian Mullins, and Eric G all killing it! In the end Mason Ho was left in the final to represent the regulars. On the other side of the bracket was the Goofy footers, with Ryan Carlson setting the standard in the first heat huckin’ huge frontside 3's to impress everyone, Dane and Tanner Gudauskas doing their thing of power and speed, and little Evan Geiselman earning a 3rd place finish! This kids only 12 yrs old people!
In the End Ryan Carlson (Goofy) battled Mason Ho (Regular) in the final to see which stance reigns "Supreme".... Mason surfed solid and clicked some airs with ease but couldn't stop the crazy air display of Ryan Carlson. Carlson posted the only perfect 10 of the contest landing and riding out yet another Rodeo Flip! Carlson was stoked and walked away with the title for Goofy and a brand new iPod for himself.

Check out etnies East Coast ripper Nick Guilarte on the latest edition on elimiDUDE on the Surfing Mag site. Nick is the "DUDE" that the hot-ass twins wanted bad, but were too scared of his sweet skills and huge...errr, board?

The etnies Surf team posted up in Huntington Beach over the weekend to cause a little trouble in the streets and spank the competition in the water at the No Fear at the Pier Pro Jr.
CJ Kanuha, Casey Brown, Aamion Goodwin, and Eric Geiselman were all on hand to sign some posters, give out stickers and bull shit with everyone out in front of JACKS. Some dude even got his motorcycle signed!
But when is came down to the contest it was all business, and Eric Geiselman won his thrid Pro Jr. event of the season! That's right, three Dubya's!!! Congrats Eric.
